Why did Windows 11 get rid of Snipping Tool?

I remember when I first updated to Windows 11, I thought Microsoft removed the Snipping Tool because it looked different. But actually, they didn’t get rid of it. They combined the old Snipping Tool with Snip & Sketch into one new app that still keeps the name “Snipping Tool.”

I was confused at first because the buttons and layout changed, and it didn’t save my snips automatically like before. But after using it for a while, I realized it’s actually better. I can still select parts of my screen, draw on screenshots, and even record my screen.

Now I open it quickly with Win + Shift + S, and it feels faster and cleaner. So the tool isn’t gone, it just got a fresh look to match Windows 11.
